PPTX Viewer

YOUR FILES, YOUR CONTROL

Privacy & local processing

This page explains the viewer’s behavior. The operator of a deployed copy is responsible for its hosting, advertising and any enabled conversion service.

Presentations in local mode

The browser reads, decompresses and renders the file you choose on your device. The viewer does not upload your presentation or extracted slide contents in local mode. Presentations are kept in working memory, not saved to local storage. Closing the file or leaving the page releases that session.

Optional server conversion

Server conversion is disabled by default. If enabled by the operator, selecting that mode sends the PPTX to the configured conversion service. Its operator determines document processing, retention and logging. Confirm that service’s privacy terms before uploading confidential information.

Browser preferences

The viewer stores one color-theme preference in localStorage under pptx-viewer-theme. Your browser settings can remove it. No account or sign-in is needed.

Advertising and hosting

Website pages load the Google AdSense script from their HTML head. Google and advertising partners may process cookies or similar identifiers to serve, measure and personalize ads where permitted. Hosting providers may record routine connection information. This viewer does not supply presentation contents to those services.

Learn more about Google advertising technologies and manage personalization through My Ad Center. Available consent choices depend on the deployed site and your region.

Exporting and printing

Image downloads and the dedicated print window are generated on your device. A remote conversion image may need to be fetched from its conversion service to print or export it. The print page also loads the advertising script. The Print button generates a separate document containing only your slides for export; it does not remove or hide advertising on the website.

Desktop application mode

Inside the updated desktop application, the viewer reads the selected PPTX through a local resource channel and renders it with the same browser engine used on this website. The file path is used for the current document only. Native image and PDF exports process that same file on your device.
